The story of Broken Heart Spirits is sad and inspiring at the same time: The two German ex-pats Joerg and Bernd spent three whole years creating their personal gin in their chosen country New Zealand. Bernd sadly passed on, but Joerg went on to complete their dream: He released the spirit and called it Broken Heart Gin, after the memory of his late friend who should have shared the success.
