Gin Sieben congenially combines its origins, the Main metropolis, with the traditional Frankfurt recipe of the Green Sauce or "Grie SoĂ", as the Frankfurt man says.
The Composition
The key to the composition of Gin Sieben, besides the obligatory juniper, is the 7-herb mixture of Borage, chervil, cress, parsley, pimpinella, sorrel and chives. It was possible to transfer the essences of these seven plants to alcohol by maceration. Strictly following the principles of dry gin production, a unique spirit was distilled together with juniper berries.
Why does Gin Sieben have 49% alcohol by volume?
The seven herbs in the recipe of the Green Sauce combined with the seven regional influences, which characterize the real Frankfurt Dry Gin, multiply to 49% vol. alcohol, resulting in 100% pure gin enjoyment!
How does Gin Seven taste?
The basis of Gin Sieben is of course the juniper berry, which gives every gin its typical bitter taste. But it is the combination of the specific seven herbs that gives it its incomparable character.
- Herbal substance and complex base are the aromas of chervil and parsley.
- Freshness with a tendency towards citrus notes comes from cress and sorrel.
- Pimpinelle, slightly nutty and borage, more floral, gently round off the composition.
- Chives give a special character without dominating.

Our Highlight
Our highlight with Gin Sieben was the reception by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during his inaugural visit to Hesse. Volker Bouffier (Minister President of Hesse) presented our Gin Sieben as a guest gift.
