This gin is hand crafted in Portland, Oregon, using a proprietary maceration recipe: The botanicals are placed in nylon sacks and suspended in a pure, neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks, which gives the Aviation American Gin its unique taste. This brand also has a very famous co-owner: No other than (funnily enough Canadian) actor Ryan Reynolds. On their website you can watch a hilarious video narrated by the Deadpool actor, where his tears and four-hour-long mediation are involved in the process of making this gin. And to say it in Reynold’s own words: “I’ve tried every gin on the planet and Aviation is, hands down, the best. Also, I don’t recommend trying every gin on the planet. Stick with this one.”
